The "Bharat Museum" is short for the Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum which is currently under construction in New Delhi, India. With around 950 rooms it's designed to be the world's largest museum, housed in the historic North and South Blocks of the city. The museum will showcase India's 5,000-year history through eight thematic galleries, featuring artifacts from various museums around India and even some from other countries.

The museum will span 117,000 square meters, making it the largest museum globally.
Location:
It's being built within the iconic North and South Blocks of New Delhi, which are currently undergoing restoration.
Content:
The museum will feature eight thematic galleries covering ancient Indian knowledge, the medieval era, the transition period, modern India, colonial rule, the freedom movement, and the 100 years since 1947.
Artifacts:
It's planned to display around 25,000 artifacts, which would be a significant increase from the National Museum's current 6,000 artifacts.
Replacement:
The Yuge Yugeen Bharat Museum is intended to replace the existing National Museum of India as the country's national museum.

France is a partner in this project, with a focus on museum and heritage cooperation
